Auch beim 3. Citylauf war die Feuerwehr Menden wieder mit von der Partie. Insgesamt 26 Teilnehmer der Einsatzabteilung und der Jugendfeuerwehr bestritten den 5km-Firmenlauf. Bei sommerlicher Hitze ließen es sich zudem zwei Feuerwehrleute nicht nehmen, in vollständiger Einsatzkleidung und Atemschutzgerät an den Start zu gehen.
Wie schon in den vergangenen Jahren konnten auch dieses Jahr die Läufer der Feuerwehr Podiumsplätze erreichen. In der Teamwertung belegten die Brandschützer hierbei den zweiten Platz und landeten damit vor den Kolleginnen und Kollegen von der Polizei.
Wir hoffen ihr nehmt es sportlich und freuen uns auf eine sportliche Revanche im nächsten Jahr 😉
